news: ITP appointed to review CPZs in Camden

The London Borough of Camden has appointed ITP to assist with the first comprehensive review of Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs) in the borough since 2011.
Our work will focus on the assessment of existing CPZ performance and the identification of where amendments to CPZs can be made, in terms of size and hours of control, to reduce car ownership levels and deliver on the wider objectives of the new Camden Transport Strategy (CTS) which include improving air quality and reducing noise.
The evidence collected through the study will also enable Camden to become more proactive in respect of future reviews and decisions regarding CPZ programming. This will ensure that controls continue to remain appropriate at an exciting time of growth and change for the borough.
