Public transport continues to play an important role in modern society, with 4 billion UK bus journeys made in the last year alone. Ensuring these services meet local demand is essential - not only for operational performance, but also to encourage more widespread use of public transport.
Our role in the public transport industry is to support and advise our private and public sector clients on how bus and rail services can be delivered to truly meet local needs. We are currently looking for a highly motivated transport planner with an interest in public transport to join our team in Birmingham.
As a Consultant or Senior Consultant you will be involved in a range of projects, including:
- Public transport strategy development.
- Network reorganisations.
- Ticketing and pricing studies.
- Concessionary travel scheme advice & administration.
- Market research.
- Demand forecasting.
- Business case preparation.
