Royal HaskoningDHV has been connecting people for 140 years. Together, through our expertise and passion, we have contributed to a better society and improved people’s lives with work underpinned by our sustainable values and goals. We are an independent, employee trust-owned, international consultancy and engineering company that is leading the way in sustainability and innovation.
Integrated Transport Planning (ITP) is our UK-based Mobility and Infrastructure team. Our current Leadership Team of 5 people oversees 100 transport planners and engineers. We work with clients who are focused on accelerating the ongoing sustainable mobility and energy transitions that are central to reducing and mitigating the most harmful impacts of climate change. We aim to Enhance Society Together by Improving the Way the World Moves, and are proud to have created a professional environment that enables the very best transport planners and engineers to flourish whilst learning from the expertise and placemaking insights of colleagues based in the Netherlands.
We are looking for an industry-leading transport planner with the domain knowledge and technical expertise needed to lead our established Sustainable Development Team. We seek someone who will inspire and lead our existing Sustainable Development team members through the next phase of an ongoing transition. They will guide and support the team’s increasing application of established knowledge and skills to a wider range of development types that focus on achieving more sustainable spatial development and mobility outcomes.
The right candidate will take line management and growth responsibility for the current team of 11 people, along with the autonomy to lead all aspects of their growth; spanning business development, recruitment, project delivery, and client liaison. In turn, they will take Profit and Loss responsibility for the Sustainable Development Team’s performance, and sit on the ITP Advisory Group’s Leadership Team alongside our three established Team Leaders, the Advisory Group Director and Operations Director. As such they will help the Leadership Team to shape and deliver our future growth strategy, deepen our integration within Royal HaskoningDHV, and share responsibility for collectively achieving our environmental and commercial objectives.
