Stephanie Norris BSc (Hons)
Stephanie joined ITP as a consultant in 2010. Since joining the company she has gained essential experience engaging in a varied range of projects for UK government departments and agencies, local authorities and private sector enterprises allowing her to develop her research and analytical skills. Stephanie brings experience from a breadth of social research projects with key expertise in social research for analysis and evaluation.
A key area of expertise is social research; Stephanie is a strong advocate for effective data collection to facilitate reliable data for evaluation and is well practiced with designing and delivering data collection techniques, including on-site and online surveys, depth interviews and focus groups. Recently Stephanie worked as part of the research team for a major research project commissioned by the Department for Transport developing national Blue Badge Guidance for administration.
Since joining ITP she has worked on a number of concessionary fares projects for Nottingham City Council, Nottinghamshire County Council, Lincolnshire County Council, Derbyshire County Council and Portsmouth City Council. For these projects she has assisted with the scheme administration, through the analysis of operator data to assist with calculating reimbursement claims.
Researching and promoting sustainable travel is a particular interest for Stephanie, including personal and workplace travel plans. Recently she has been involved with travel plan research for BT’s Adastral Park site and the evaluation of matchday travel and traffic management for Derby City Football Club.
Stephanie is enjoying developing her interests in sustainable transport strategy preparation and technical social research skills and is keen to continue developing her skills within transport research and delivery.
