Kwabena Darfour

Kwabena joined ITP in 2015 as a Senior Consultant. He plays a key role in many of ITP’s development planning projects for both private sector and local authority clients, preparing Transport Statements and Transport Assessments, and reviewing and designing access arrangements.  Kwabena has developed his skills through the years and is able to quickly assimilate key issues within projects and present practical and resolute mitigation measures.  This, coupled with his experience in the use of junction analysis software such as Linsig, ARCADY and PICADY, has enabled him to comprehensively project manage development planning projects from start to completion to high standards and to the client’s satisfaction.

Kwabena has in the past gained experience working with Jacobs Engineering and Mewies Engineering Consultancy during which he led teams for the PrimeLines monitoring project, which involved data collection and analysis. This project sought to quantify benefits of improvement works on various bus corridors for Coventry in the United Kingdom. He also project managed a Red Route implementation project for the Coventry City Council from route feasibility and appraisal study to its implementation.

If not busily involved with projects Kwabena enjoys volunteering for a Christian Organisation through training and development of the youth with leadership skills.
